IndusPay: A Unified Payments Interface for Easy Transactions
IndusPay is a free Android application that offers a Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to make transactions easier for both IndusInd and non-IndusInd customers. With UPI, all bank account holders (of banks participating in UPI) can send and receive money using their smartphones with a single identifier Virtual Payment Address (VPA). This means that users no longer need to remember beneficiary details like account number and IFSC code.
IndusPay allows users to transfer and receive funds from multiple bank accounts using one app. Users can transfer funds using VPA, account number + IFSC code, and mobile number + MMID. The app also allows users to check the balances of all their linked accounts and pay merchants accepting UPI as a payment option. In case of any dispute, users can raise disputes and view the dispute status using the app itself.
